Badges
If you want to insert a direct link to a document in a text field (for example, in the Implementation field of a requirement), follow the steps below:
-
In the Library tab of the item, under Related Information, add the document you want to reference.
-
When you added the document, on the right side of the document name you will see the icon of a pin and the the waste bin. Click on the pin icon. Pinning creates a dedicated tab for the document (at the top of the screen) and makes it easily accessible.
-
In the relevant text field, type the name of the newly created document tab. The badge text can contain the full name or part of the name, but the spelling must be exact.
-
Select the text that will be used as the badge.
-
In the text formatting bar, change Paragraph to Badge.
-
If the badge is the last word in the field, press Enter after applying the badge to exit the badge formatting. Save the changes.
The text will now appear as a blue Badge. Clicking the badge opens the document tab. To return to the original item (for example, the requirement), navigate from the document tab to the Details tab.

To remove a badge, open the field in Edit mode:
-
If the badge contains one word, click inside the badge and select Clear formatting in the formatting bar.
-
If the badge contains multiple words, select all badge text and then click Clear formatting.
To continue writing text after a badge, place the cursor inside the badge, press Space, and then click Clear formatting.
