Managing Standards in ISOPlanner
Depending on your ISOPlanner subscription, you can activate a specific number of standards via Administration → Standards. This menu also shows how many standards are currently active and how many you can activate in total. For detailed information about the number of standards included in each subscription type, please refer to our pricing page.
ISOPlanner offers more than 40 standards, many of which are available in multiple languages (English, German, and Dutch). New versions of existing standards are imported as they become available, and additional standards are regularly introduced—often based on customer requests. For a current overview of available standards, please see the article: activate-your-standards.
In the list of standards, the ones you have activated are marked as active and for each active standard you will see the language in which it is active and whether the standard is visible. Language and visibility of the standard can be changed/adjusted. If you mark an active standard (circle left of the standard name) and click on the “Edit” button on top, additional window will open in the right part of your screen where you can adjust the data.

One of the options available is the “Statement of Applicability” section. Here you can enter the Scope and once you create an SoA in the Report menu or in the Controls menu, this “Scope” will appear in the report.

Standards can also be deactivated. NOTE: deleting a standard means that everything related to this standard is being deleted and the data will not be available if you activate the standard again.
Custom standards
Where to find it in ISOPlanner: https://portal.isoplanner.app/admin/standards/custom
If your company has additional controls applicable to official standard or you have a specific set of requirements (and controls) applicable for your company only and you wish to have them in ISOPlanner, you can add them as a custom standard.
In the menu Administration / Standards, go to the tab: “Custom standards”. There you have the option to download the template for your own standard. When ready, you can import it with the help of the button “Import”. This will add controls and/or requirements in the right ISOPlanner element.
You can also create only a standard (name) in this menu with the help of the button “Add”. Define the name, optionally a description of the standard and whether the standard is active i.e. if it should be visible. To add requirements and controls to the custom standard, create them in their respective menus and then use the “related standards” button for each requirement and control to link them to the custom standard.

It is also possible to link a custom control and/or requirement to a built-in standard controls and requirements. To be able to do that, first create a custom standard, only the standard name, as described above. After that go in menu controls and open the control of the built-in standard you wish to link a custom standard to. Within the Control, click on the button “Related Standards” which will open a small window on the right side. Go to the tab “custom standards” and choose the custom standard you wish to create a link to. When saved, this will create additional tab in the control and you can enter the control text.
